Welcome to the tour of First Lutheran Church. My name is Michelle, and I will be your tour guide.

Please step on board the tram. And keep your arms inside, while we are moving

Lets get started!

The tour begins at the entry to the church

Going inside the church now

Here is our elevator, for those who need it.

Next stop, the Friendship Room. This is where our member's congregate after services, for coffee and conversation.

Here is one of our kitchen's. This is where Sunday Coffee is prepared. Would anyone like some coffee?

Connected to the Friendship Room, is the Nursery.

Straight ahead from the Friendship room is the Sanctuary. We are now up at the altar

Okay, hold on and fasten your seat belt. We are going upstairs. I hope the tram can make it.

WE MADE IT!!

Off to the side, you will see the favorite spot of the guy who hired me (Dave Nelson) and the kids favorite spot as well.

These are the ropes to the bells. We ring them before (one at a time) and after services

Past the bells is the choir loft. Senior Choir and the Bell Choirs perform here

Here is our pipe organ

Hold on, we are going down the stairs

Guess what? We are going down more stairs

We are now in the basement of the church

We are now in the Fellowship Hall. A lot of events take place here, including Sunday School Opening (it looks like an event is about to take place)

Going across the way, we are now in the Ark Room

Moving on, we are now headed to our youthroom

Here is our Youthroom. There is a lot for our youth to do here

Lets go to the Friendship Room and take a quick coffee break and after coffee, we will go to the church offices

Wasn't that good coffee?

Moving on, we are now going to the offices

The first office on the tour belongs to: Nancy Magathan, Judi McElroy and Dave Nelson

Here is our Workroom, a lot happens in this office

Here is Arlene's office, Arlene is our Secretary

Next office on the tour is the Butenshon's, who are our Youth Ministers

And the final office on the tour is Pastor John's

Going outside now is the bridge that connects the church, and the Astoria offices of Lutheran Community Service Northwest (Hope House)

If you look across the church lawn, you will see the famous ASTORIA Bridge

Did you know First Lutheran was used in 3 movies? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 and Free Willy 1 and 2. If you look closely in Free Willy, you will see the church

We are back at the main entry and that concludes the tour. We hope you had a good time. Stop by the church sometime and say hi!

Please remain seated until the tram comes to a complete stop
