Ensemble
Ensemble is an instrumental group that plays on alternate Sundays. The
ensemble group typically consists of keyboard or piano, cello, guitars
and other instruments. In addition to performing at Sunday services,
the group also performs at special events in the church and community.
Worship:
The First Lutheran Church Ensemble is made up of piano, bass, guitar
and drums, all acoustic with amplification. The ensemble
accompanies the congregational singing with contemporary Christian
music in an alternate worship format. The Ensemble plays on the
2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, worship features our
16 rank Balcom and Vaughn pipe organ (No. 873, 1990) with familiar,
classic hymns and liturgy from the newest ELCA Worship Hymnbook. |
